Digital Robotics Internship

Your mission

We are seeking a Masters-level intern to contribute to several advanced initiatives involving AI-driven perception cloudedge integration and immersive visualisation. The intern(s) will work closely with experts in robotics computer vision and cloud technologies to design develop and deploy real-world solutions.

Potential Projects for internships :

• Bolt detection and classification : Develop AI algorithms to detect the presence or absence of bolts and classify them according to tightness or looseness with real-time data integration into a cloud application.
• Drone data automation : Automate drone flight log analysis integrating a warning mechanism to flag anomalies and continue development of the existing project pipeline.
• Predictive maintenance : Extend functionality with machine learning models to detect sensor or system defects.
• AI from Cloud to Edge : Streamline the migration and optimisation of existing cloud-based AI algorithms for execution on the drones NVIDIA Jetson Orin platform.
• 3D gas visualisation : Design and implement a method to represent gas sensor measurements in 3D following the drones flight trajectory and displaying the results in a cloud environment.
• Virtual Reality collaboration : Develop a Microsoft Teams / Mesh plugin using Unity to enable virtual meetings within immersive 3D representations of inspected assets.
