Your mission
We are seeking a Masters-level intern to contribute to several advanced initiatives involving AI-driven perception cloudedge integration and immersive visualisation. The intern(s) will work closely with experts in robotics computer vision and cloud technologies to design develop and deploy real-world solutions.
Potential Projects for internships :
- Bolt detection and classification : Develop AI algorithms to detect the presence or absence of bolts and classify them according to tightness or looseness with real-time data integration into a cloud application.
- Drone data automation : Automate drone flight log analysis integrating a warning mechanism to flag anomalies and continue development of the existing project pipeline.
- Predictive maintenance : Extend functionality with machine learning models to detect sensor or system defects.
- AI from Cloud to Edge : Streamline the migration and optimisation of existing cloud-based AI algorithms for execution on the drones NVIDIA Jetson Orin platform.
- 3D gas visualisation : Design and implement a method to represent gas sensor measurements in 3D following the drones flight trajectory and displaying the results in a cloud environment.
- Virtual Reality collaboration : Develop a Microsoft Teams / Mesh plugin using Unity to enable virtual meetings within immersive 3D representations of inspected assets.
Your profile
Required Qualification
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Masters degree in Robotics Computer Engineering AI or a related field is a must.Qualifications linked to the project
Strong skills in Python C and experience with machine learning frameworks orFamiliarity with ROS Jetson Orin or other embedded GPU platforms orKnowledge of cloud computing (Azure AWS JavaScript Angular) and edge deployment techniques orExperience with Unity or 3D visualisation tools is an asset orInterest or experience in drone systems sensor fusion and AI-based perceptionCreative problem-solving autonomy and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary R&D team.Why us
