About the role

The Sr. Manager Steel & Castings Procurement is responsible for developing and executing aglobal category strategythat optimizescost availability agility and innovation. This role leads a team to delivercost optimization supplier performance and strategic alignmentwith Carriers long-term product and technology roadmap.

The leader will drivesupplier relationship managementcosted BOM development andcross-functional collaborationwith engineering quality product management and operations to ensure sourcing strategies enablebusiness growth risk mitigation and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

Category Strategy & Execution

• Develop and implement acomprehensive category strategyaligned with Carriers global supply chain product and manufacturing strategies.
• Optimizetotal cost of ownership (TCO)through cost modeling value engineering and sourcing innovation.
• Leadcosted BOM developmentand ensure alignment with product lifecycle and technology roadmaps.
• Drivedual sourcing re-sourcing and supplier qualificationto ensure supply continuity and competitiveness.

Success Metrics

Qualifications

8 years instrategic sourcing procurement or supply chain with global category management experience.

Proficiency inprocurement systems(SAP Ariba) and analytics tools.

Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
