Responsibilities

Define and optimize packaging, palletizing, and maintenance solutions from finished product silos to stock and trucks, ensuring compliance with product requirements
Develop User Requirements Specifications and Functional Design Specifications for technical, automation, and IT / OT requirements
Ensure efficient production process design and implement a preventive maintenance program
Support packaging, palletizing, and maintenance projects while ensuring compliance with Omya's engineering and safety standards
Support global maintenance strategies and best practices for packaging and palletizing equipment
Conduct supplier audits and evaluations, ensuring technical excellence and maintenance support
Define critical spare parts management and develop global KPIs to measure and optimize performance

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Automation or similar discipline

At least 5 years working experience in relevant field

Expertise in packing and palletization engineering systems

Thorough understanding of packaging equipment operation

Great time management skills and ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize

Strong understanding of business challenges

Solution-oriented and proactive approach

Willingness to travel up to 20 %
