Data Engineer

As part of its growth, our client is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join its data team in Switzerland. You will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of modern data platforms supporting high-value business use cases.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines

Build and manage ETL / ELT processes

Contribute to the architecture of data warehouses and data lakes

Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and availability

Optimize performance and cost efficiency of data processing

Collaborate closely with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and business teams

Document data solutions and best practices

Profile

At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role

Strong proficiency in Python and SQL

Hands-on experience with data processing frameworks Apache Spark )

Experience with orchestration tools Airflow )

Solid experience working in Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Strong understanding of modern data architectures

Fluent in English and French , both written and spoken

Nice to Have

Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and DevOps best practices

Experience working in agile environments

Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively
