Your responsibilities :

Managing the work of the subordinate accountant team;
Calculation of CIT statements according to regulations and responsibility for timely implementation;
Preparation of VAT-7, VAT-UE, VAT-27 returns, GUS, NBP reporting;
Preparation of consolidated and standalone financial statement according to the Polish Accounting Act and preparation group reporting according to IFRS;
Cooperation with control institutions, tax administration, external and internal auditors and other;
Cooperation with other departments;
Analysing variance and postings in the system;
Reconciliation of balances;
Booking documents;
Classification of transaction in the book of accounts;
Responsible for month and year end closing process;
Building good relations, effective communication with group’s companies and colleagues;
Assessing contracts for tax purposes;
Optimizing processes in the accounting department and creating new structures;
Adjusting system to changing regulations;
Ongoing supervision over the introduction of changes in the Company;

Our requirements :

Experience in similar position (min 3 years as a Team Leader or Chief Accountant);

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or similar field;

Excellent knowledge of current regulations in the field of accounting, VAT and CIT taxes;

Proficient in English language;

Deep understanding of GL, AR, AP, R2R, P2P process;

Experience in SAP accounting system;

Very good MS skills knowledge, especially Excel;

Experience with start to finish accounting processes;

Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time;

Experience in the optimization of accounting processes;

Experience in international work environment;

Ability to manage a team, assigning and accounting for tasks;

Great attention to details;

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

Good organization skills and a willingness to learn;

Problem solving skills;

Teamwork spirit;
