Oracle Exadata specialist

For our customer, a major Swiss Financial Services Institution - we are seeking an Oracle Exadata Engineer

The Senior Oracle Exadata Engineer is responsible for the architecture, implementation, operation, and optimization of Oracle Exadata Database Machine environments with virtualized KVM hosts supporting mission-critical workloads (OLTP, DW, mixed). You will partner with application, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver high availability, performance, scalability, and security across on premises.

Responsibilities Architecture & Design :

• Exadata capacity planning; HA with RAC; DR with (Active)
• Data Guard; Backup / restore via RMAN; Leverage Smart Scan, HCC, IORM. Upgrades / migrations (Data Guard);
• Tuning with AWR / ASH and SQL; I / O optimization; Capacity management; incident / change per ITIL; Security & Compliance : Qualifications 7+ years Oracle DBA / Engineering,
• 3+ years with Exadata; Deep expertise : RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, performance tuning; Hands-on with Exadata X Series, Smart Scan, Storage Indexes,
• HCC; patch / lifecycle management; Strong Linux administration;
• HA / DR design and exercises; OEM / monitoring proficiency.
