- System engineering of a hardware & software system in ETCS (European Train Control System)
- Design and integration of on-board systems into rail vehicles
- Creation of concepts, system requirements specifications and electrical schematics
- Participation in static & dynamic commissioning of the systems in rail vehicle as well as in type tests in the field
- Preparation of evidences for authorization
- Interface with customers, assessors and suppliers
- Working in complicated projects with a large number of stake holders and in a multi-cultural environment
- Development of system architecture
- Further development of the system based on customer requirements
How you will contribute
Completed technical education as mechanical, electronic or computer science engineer ETH / TU / FH or comparableExperience in electro-mechanical installationsExperience is testing and commissioning electro-mechanical equipmentEnglish at fluent level (spoken and written)Good analytical and interpersonal skillsWillingness to travel in Europe (up to 25%)Desireable
Knowledge of ETCS including European Railway Agency (ERA) standardsKnowledge of National Train Control Systems in different European countries (e.g. PZB, PZB / LZB, ATB-EG, TBL1+, SCMT, MIREL, Zub123 etc. )Experience with Class B systems integrationKnowledge of tools like DOORS, RQM, CCM, as well as MVB protocols and / or the simulation environmentGerman as well as Italian spoken and writtenExperience in hardware IntegrationFurther information
