Your tasksDevelop software applications for various platforms used at PSI (SOM / SOC, Zynq US, Intel, ARM, PowerPC)Develop systems, tools, drivers and applications for the EPICS Control System and integrate and commission in the PSI Particle Accelerators, as well as do the long-term maintenance changes and upgrades - Analyse and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of critical particle accelerator hardware and software systems and large-scale distributed, real-time and failure-critical systemsInterface and collaborate on Hardware and FPGA design and development with different groupsActively document the subsystems and provide guides, courses, specifications, and other technical reports
Your profileDegree in Computer Science, Electrical, Software or Embedded Systems Engineering, Physicis or relatedExperience in distributed systems design and development with multitasking real-time operating systems, variety of hardware and FPGA interfacing and / or developmentYou possess sound technical, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills and have gained extensive experience in software development of the large failure-
critical distributed systems, knowledge of OS coding techniques, protocols and interfacesYou enjoy working as part of a team and your excellent communication skills in English make it easy for you to deal with different contact persons and
