On behalf of our client, we are seeking a motivated and experienced HR Business Partner / Generalist to support their European- and US-based teams in delivering operational excellence. This senior-level role involves facilitating all HR-related activities, from recruitment to employee relations, ensuring smooth collaboration between local leadership and their global Talent, Team & Culture team.
Your Tasks :
- Act as the primary local HR contact for leadership and employees, providing coaching, problem-solving, and advocacy while escalating issues as needed.
- Collaborate with the corporate HR team to resolve complex employee relations and compliance matters.
- Promote company culture by driving corporate values, recognition programs, and fostering a sense of belonging among employees.
- Support site leadership with operational planning, site meetings, employee events, and internal communications.
- Advise the US-based HR team on Swiss labor law and cultural nuances when implementing global HR programs.
- Manage recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, selection, and onboarding. Coordinate with local staffing agencies for temporary staffing needs.
- Partner with the Total Rewards team to administer performance reviews, compensation, benefits, and training programs. Ensure accurate payroll and employee records management.
- Ensure compliance with Swiss and European labor laws, educating leaders and employees on best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant internal policies and external regulatory requirements, ensuring full legal compliance and ethical conduct.
Your Profile :
Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate qualifications preferred.Minimum 10 years of HR experience in a similar role, ideally within a Switzerland-based organization integrated with U.S. operations in the life sciences sector.Strong leadership skills with proven coaching and mentoring experience.Expert-level knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, and HR best practices.Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is required.Please apply directly online with your CV.
