Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced All-Rounder for a private household inWädenswil in the Canton of Zurich. This full-time position requires a detail-oriented professional with good physical stamina and a no drama attitude.

Position Details

Job Title : Domestic Helper / All-RounderReporting to : Employer Location : Private residence with park,Wädenswil, Canton Zurich Working Hours : 43 hours per week Work Schedule : 5 days per week, with 2 flexible days off (days off mainly during Monday-Friday, based on weekly schedule and household needs). Overtime : will be compensated with additional rest time Probation Period : 3 months (12 weeks)

Key Duties Responsibilities

General Property & Grounds Maintenance

–       Cleaning and upkeep of outdoor areas, including park / garden spaces, pathways, terraces, and exterior surfaces

–       Seasonal tasks such as leaf collection and snow removal

–       Washing and maintaining outdoor furniture and equipment

Household Maintenance & Minor Repairs

–       Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks (e.g. fixing small items, mounting shelves)

–       Carrying out tasks that do not require formal technical training or professional certification

–       Supporting basic renovations and general upkeep of buildings and facilities

Housekeeping & Organization

–       Supporting general household organization

–       Maintaining cleanliness and order in exterior spaces

Pool Maintenance

–       Cleaning and maintaining the indoor swimming pool (pool robot available)

–       Monitoring and managing pool consumables and chemicals in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions

Vehicle Fleet & Driving Services

Assistance with maintenance of household vehicle fleet, including :

–       Washing vehicles and cleaning interiors

–       Refueling and basic vehicle care

–       Providing driving services

Errands, Shopping & Logistics

–       Making purchases and running errands

–       Organizing materials and household supplies

–       Coordinating deliveries and maintaining basic inventories

Dogs’ care

–       Walking two German Shepherds outside the premises (e.g. in parks and public areas)

–       Washing and grooming the dogs after walks

Coordination with Contractors & Service Providers

–       Coordinating and supervising external contractors and service companies

–       Acting as a point of contact on behalf of the employer for household-related services

Flexible All-Round Household Support

–       Providing adaptable, hands-on support across a wide range of household tasks

–       Assisting with ad-hoc duties to ensure the smooth daily operation of the private household

Other Duties

–       Performing other reasonable tasks and errands that do not require specific professional qualifications

Essential Requirements

Experience & Skills

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a comparable role within a private household.

Basic gardening and groundskeeping knowledge (specialized gardening and landscaping services are provided by an external company).

Technically adept and manually skilled , with the ability to carry out minor repairs, maintenance work, and practical household tasks independently.

Language skills :

–       Fluent in German (spoken and written)

–       Good level of English (spoken and written)

–       French is considered an advantage

Valid Swiss driving license (Category B) with confident and responsible driving experience.

• Valid Swiss work permit or EU / EFTA citizenship with legal right to work in Switzerland
• Lives nearWädenswil (≤ 1 hour commute) or willing to relocate after probation
• No dog allergies and comfortable handling dogs (2 black German Shepherds in household)

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range : CHF 60,000 to 84,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience and qualifications Vacation : 5 weeks per year Pension & Insurance : Standard Swiss social security contributions (AHV / BVG)
