Purpose of the function :

An international business development manager takes care of a business' expansion into international markets.

Tasks

  • Engage in strategic business planning
  • Implement a business strategy to align and partner with stakeholders to maximize growth and sales
  • Find opportunities for the business to expand by researching market trends and developing partnerships with key international partners (Focus regions : African countries and East Asia)
  • Achieve targets and deliver revenue
  • Proactively work across different levels of stakeholders
  • Provide regular, timely forecasts of performance, product demand, and expenditure
  • Lead and initiate projects

Skills and profile

  • Degree or higher in business, biological science, or a related field
  • Significant diagnostics or medical devices industry and sales experience, preferably
  • Consistent track record of achieving targets
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to achieve results through influencing others
  • Positive attitude, team player with a high level of initiative, energy, and enthusiasm
  • Responsible-minded with high persuasive power
  • Skilled and experienced negotiator
  • Excellent organizational, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Self-starter, possesses flexibility, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-changing environment and ambiguous situations
  • Languages

    English, French(optional)

    Various

    Expertise in IVD market, medical devices and / or pharma market will be an advantage. Track record in international cooperation with focus regions mentioned above will also be an advantage.
