Your key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients including both domestic and international companies registered for VAT in Switzerland with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional service and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Lead the comprehensive onboarding process for new clients at EY ensuring a seamless transition and integration into EYs services.
• Guide companies through the registration process for Swiss VAT whether they are facing mandatory or voluntary VAT liabilities while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of prepared VAT returns overseeing their timely submission to the Swiss Federal Tax Administration to meet all deadlines.
• Provide expert assistance during VAT audits representing clients and ensuring that all necessary documentation and information are readily available.
• Mentor and train junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in VAT and best practices fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.
• Collaborate on initiatives to automate various processes driving improvements in efficiency and effectiveness across the team.
• Actively participate in the ongoing enhancement of VAT services identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement to better serve clients.
