Position Summary

We are seeking a talented Senior AI Consultant with a robust mix of AI & analytics consulting, and strategy experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen in AI and analytics, very good communication skills, and the ability to engage with a senior level effectively. Fluency in German & English is essential for this role (ideally combined with some experience in French).

The ideal candidate should not only have a strategic and technical foundation but also possess the soft skills necessary to engage effectively with clients and lead teams. The ability to navigate complex organizational landscapes and drive the adoption of AI and analytics solutions at the strategic level is key.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted consulting advisor to external customers, delivering innovative workshops and strategic guidance on incorporating AI and analytics into the business value chain.

• Develop and drive AI strategies across various industries, with a focus on understanding and applying analytics to solve complex business challenges.

• Lead project streams or functions, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and successful project delivery.

• Drive the AI solution development in the capacity of an agile Product Owner and / or AI Project Manager

Required Experience and Skills

• AI, ML experience: at least 4 years of experience in an AI and analytics role, with a very good understanding of business applications and organizational aspects. Technical expertise in AI and analytics is beneficial but not as crucial as understanding AI and analytics organizations and use cases.

• Consulting background: a minimum of 4 years in consulting, demonstrating a capacity to work across diverse industries and projects.

• Strategy expertise: at least 2 years of experience focusing on strategy development and implementation, with a proven develop actionable strategic roadmaps

• Communication skills: very strong skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and convincingly at senior management level in English and German.

• Structured thinking and problem solving: demonstrated ability in structured thinking, with a strategic approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

• Language proficiency: fluency in both German and English is mandatory, facilitating effective communication with a diverse client base.

• Collaboration: Experienced in working with virtual distributed teams

• Flexibility: Willingness to travel

• Mindset: Solving problems and making the extra mile is part of your nature

• Work permit: You are Swiss or have a valid work permit for Switzerland or are a citizen of an EU/ EFTA country

• Availability: You intend to start your new job @Artifact within the next 1-3 months from your point of application
  

Additional preferred qualification:

• A proactive learner, keen on staying ahead of the latest trends and innovations in AI and analytics, and applying this knowledge to benefit clients.

• Experience in leading roles, such as project management or stream lead, showcasing leadership and the ability to drive projects to completion.

• Industries of Focus: While candidates with experience in life sciences, CPG, financial services or retail are preferred, the role is open to those with a strong consulting background in other industries who can adapt their analytics and AI strategy expertise accordingly.
