Tasks
- Support raw material related projects, including data collection, laboratory work, and documentation
- Assist in coordinating, monitoring, and executing mineralogical analyses
- Collect and document technical data; contribute to reports and presentations
- Provide mineralogical expertise to other technical departments
- Assist in the development and improvement of mineralogical test methods
- Contribute to research, innovation projects, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Master degree or Ph.D. in Mineralogy, Geology, or related Geoscience field; entry-level positionIn depth knowledge of analytical methods (XRF, XRD, Microscopy)Basic understanding of raw materials and mineral processing; willingness to learn Omya operationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to follow procedures and document accuratelyGood organizational and communication skills; proactive and collaborative mindsetExcellent command of English; additional languages are an advantageReadiness to travel up to 20%This position is a fixed-term role until the end of December 2026
