Legal Counsel - Technology and Data Privacy

Join our Technology Risk Governance Team to support legal, data privacy, and compliance matters related to technology contracting, onboarding, and innovation. You will also play a key role in shaping internal policies, contributing to the AI Risk Framework, and supporting firm-wide initiatives.

Your contribution to KPMG

• Conduct due diligence during technology onboarding and ensure ongoing compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Perform Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) to ensure alignment with data protection laws and company policies.
• Provide legal guidance on technology-related risk management, including intellectual property and export controls.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with technology vendors and partners to protect organizational interests.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and the KPMG Alliance Team to meet international standards and manage technology-focused collaborations.
• Develop and implement contracting guidelines that reflect emerging regulations and support the Firm's Technology Strategy.
• Contribute to the AI Risk Framework in line with the KPMG Global Trusted AI roadmap.
• Partner with the DPO and other key leaders to strengthen data privacy and information protection across technology solutions.
