Responsible for close working collaboration with Relationship Managers to actively provide clients with top-notch investment advice and asset allocation focused on investment performance. YOUR CHALLENGE Key interface function between Private Banking Relationship Managers (RMs) and the Investment Wealth & Management Solutions (IWMS) department, Investment Advisors (IA) have a direct responsibility over a selection of sophisticated and active clients regarding the provision of investment advice. In terms of Investment Advisory : Monitoring and analyzing portfolios and providing high quality tailor-made investment advice to sophisticated and active private clients, based on their requirements and the Julius Baer investment strategy. Following developments in the financial markets to maintain an understanding of investment solutions as well as current and anticipated trends and how they affect client portfolios. Providing first class advice, asset allocation across all asset classes including direct equities, fixed income, and alternatives. Providing active support for RMs in acquisition, client development, and retention activities. Acting as an unbiased and holistic business enabler for client solutions including cross-selling activities (IA and Discretionary Mandates, Funds, Structured Products, Credits, Global Custody, Wealth & Tax Planning, etc.). Participating in client meetings with RMs (prospecting, existing clients). YOUR PROFILE At least 5-10 years of professional experience in banking and in-depth knowledge of financial markets (preferably in the Investment Advisory business applying a portfolio approach, sales, and distribution). Pronounced knowledge in all asset classes and investment vehicles (FX, bonds, stocks, funds, derivatives, structured products, hedge funds, PEs) in a portfolio context. Further education in financial markets (university / university of applied science, AZEK, CFA, etc.). Client and service-oriented personality with excellent selling and presentation skills - attentive listener, ability to communicate complex subjects at different levels; efficient and independent working methods, self-assertion, and high motivation. Excellent interpersonal skills and trustworthy team player. High level of drive and energy, making contributions with conviction and confidence. Excellent written and oral skills in English and French; additional languages are a plus. Profound knowledge of MS Office and Bloomberg.
