About the job:

Main Objective :

Being a link between the Markets Department and the RMs by providing efficient and ongoing investment advice and assistance to the Bank customers and assist RMs with ad-hoc investment proposals asset allocation risk analysis and overall portfolio monitoring.

Functions:

• Monitor client portfolios: deviations from model portfolios alignment with Strategic and Tactical asset allocations risk limit violations performance analysis (individual by investment profile deviation from model portfolios) and compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Develop ad hoc investment ideas and market warnings identify target positions and/or Customers and stablish a commercial campaign.
• Direct contact with customers in order to asses portfolios evolution market positioning & investment opportunities.
• Occasional travel with RMs to visit key customers & Prospects.
• Continuous contact with BBVA SA markets department & BBVA Global Wealth in order to asses banks market view (both long term & short term).
• Create investment proposals to clients and prospect clients based on their risk profiles and our market view.
• Weekly summary of the macroeconomic publications and main news.
• Use of Bloomberg / LSEG for the creation of list of bonds research of securities and general information to respond to our clients needs.
• Back up to our team mates when they are out of the office.
• Alignment with the Banks digitalization strategy.
• Analysis of the performance of the advisory accounts as well as the asset allocation.
• Implement the advisory strategies of BBVA and the countries regulations.

Your profile:

• Master Degree in Banking or Finance or equivalent. EFPA CFA CAIA or similar would be an advantage.
• Strong skills in financial communication with clients written and spoken in Spanish and English.
• Good knowledge in markets investment vehicles risk allocation and profiles.
• Willingness and ability to work against deadlines with the highest degree of accuracy.
• Combine persuasive social and problem solving skills with a high service orientation discipline and high quality mind-set.
• Highly self-motivated open-minded quick learner and well organized person with an excellent time management.
• Reliable team player with sense of responsibility and the ability to adapt to changing demands.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in the Private Banking Portfolio Management Investment advisor or similar.
• Experience in portfolio construction risk management asset allocation security selection Funds analysis etc. will be positively valued.
• Proficient knowledge of the MS Office package (Excel PowerPoint access).
• Fluent in Spanish and English (other languages are a plus).
