Job description :

The Senior Oracle Exadata Engineer will be responsible for the following :

• Architecture & Design : Exadata capacity planning; HA with RAC
• DR with (Active) Data Guard
• Backup / restore via RMAN
• Leverage Smart Scan, HCC, IORM
• Upgrades / migrations (Data Guard)
• Tuning with AWR / ASH and SQL
• I / O optimization
• Capacity management
• incident / change per ITIL
• Security & Compliance

About the customer :

This is a contract starting in February 2026 running for 9 months (with chance for extension) offering 40% home office.

The Senior Oracle Exadata Engineer is responsible for the architecture, implementation, operation, and optimization of Oracle Exadata Database Machine environments with virtualized KVM hosts supporting mission-critical workloads (OLTP, DW, mixed).

You will partner with application, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver high availability, performance, scalability, and security across on premises.
