Hitachi Energy’s Grid Automation (GA) business unit is seeking a global product marketing leader for its Global Product Group (GPG), Automation & Communications (AC). The Automation & Communications GPG celebrates global leadership with its extensive portfolio of products, systems, and services for substation and distribution automation, as well as mission critical communications, addressing electric utilities and industrial and transportation customers operating electrical networks. You are the conduit and translator of intense technical and business subject-matter expertise from product management and sales to the Hitachi organization. As product marketing leader, you will build and maintain a culture of tight collaboration with these key stakeholders.
In this role, you will be responsible for the internal and external marketing of the Automation & Communication portfolio of technology and services, globally. Together, with global product management and sales leadership, you will drive the storytelling and content creation strategy for the portfolio. You will lead the Marketing and Communications strategy and planning process for the GPG to ensure that the investment plan is optimized to achieve short- and long-term business objectives. You will partner with the global marketing and communications organizations – at the business and corporate level – to ensure that the AC portfolio is well-represented and properly positioned, from digital presence to in person events.
To support your vision and strategy, you are responsible for delivering and maintaining key documentation for the portfolio, including product messaging; value propositions; customer personas; competitive benchmarking and insights; core customer references. The content represented in these documents is what you will bring to life in the content delivery process, supported by your marketing and communication colleagues.

Primary Responsibilities :
Education and / or Experience :
Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, communications, or business and 10-12 years experience in product management or marketing. Strong technical acumen, with knowledge of industrial automation and communications required!
Language Skills :
Exceptional executive-level writing and presentation skills. Ability to analyze and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Data and Analytic Skills :
Experience in analyzing marketing and sales data and using metrics extensively to evaluate, demonstrate, and support decision-making. Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com, Adobe Experience Manager and Analytics, AirTable, Power BI, and similar platforms and tools.
Organizational skills :
Extensive experience in managing complex, long-range projects with multiple resources and stakeholders. Ability to navigate a fast-paced, complex, heavily matrixed global organization and earn exceptional levels of advocacy among collaborating teams and stakeholders.
Travel :
Up to 25 percent of time.
