Business Development Manager Microbiology Pharma (mfd)

We are seeking a highly proactive selfdriven Business Development Manager who will play a key role in driving the continued growth of our business in this role you will identify new market opportunities build strong customer relationships and position Eurofins as a preferred partner for GMPcompliant analytical testing services in the fields of Microbiology ChemicalPhysical Analytics and Environmental & Utility Testing.

Responsibilities

• Identify target and acquire new customers within the Swiss (Bio)Pharma sector through proactive outreach and eventdriven lead generation
• Drive sales growth by developing new business opportunities and closing deals aligned with strategic objectives
• Implement targeted sales strategies to accelerate market penetration and strengthen regional presence
• Plan and execute sales activities to achieve ambitious revenue goals
• Manage existing accounts ensuring customer satisfaction identifying opportunities for upselling and crossselling
• Represent the company at conferences exhibitions and industry events
• Maintain accurate and uptodate records in key IT systems including CRM tools and customer databases

Qualifications :

• A scientific degree in Microbiology Biotechnology Pharmacy Biology Chemistry or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in customer interaction ideally with initial exposure to Business Development
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Microbiology
• Solid knowledge of GMP regulations essential for performing the role effectively
• Excellent communication negotiation organizational and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in common IT applications including MS Office and CRM systems
• Excellent spoken and written English skills
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
