They offer traditional, as well as complex, bespoke private banking services to its high net worth clients. A strong share-holder, solid balance sheet behind. This Client is offering an enriching and challenging position, that is rather unique on the Geneva market place.
Position :
It is around this time of year, we start thinking about a new challenge on the job front. Perhaps you are not satisfied with your current position or find yourself between jobs right now. With Swiss experience, you are a seasoned farmer banker, used to a broad role, comfortable as part of a small, busy team. The position will be as the right hand of the General Manager as a farmer banker / senior relationship manager. You will principally be maintaining a client base and having contact with clients. You should be comfortable talking to clients and therefore strong on products, investments and financial markets (whilst we are not looking for an investment advisor, as the team already has one), you need to at least be capable to explain a fact sheet and answer client questions about investments and products. If you work today as a Senior Relationship Manager farmer, this could be a broad, varied role that is going to be enriching and rewarding for you as a next step. Within a small structure, the position is coming in as an experienced relationship manager (farmer) that has good visibility and responsibility. Day to day, as mentioned above, you will maintain the client base and manage the relationships. With 1 junior banker in the team, along with 1 assistant, you may still at times have to take on one or two more administrative tasks relating to account-opening or a payment, fiduciary deposit etc - so happy to "rol up sleeves". (Please note, this is not a hunter role). As also mentioned above, you should be comfortable on complex orders, structured products, funds, derivatives (options) etc - even if you will be working closely with the Investment Advisor who is also part of this Geneva-based, front office team.
