As Digital Library Manager, you play a crucial role within global Knowledge Management and Services team, with direct colleagues in Kaiseraugst, Geneva (CH) and Delft (NL), ensuring access to relevant internal and external information, and insights to Science and Research community.
By managing the digital library portfolio and your active role in user engagement you will be a key player in connecting and upskilling the scientific community.

Key Responsibilities :
Impact on strategy & contribution
- Development and improvement of scientific literature collection (portfolio) : relevant collection of electronic sources for various science and innovation team in dsm-firmenich
- Holdings management and user access management : maintaining the overview of licensed content and user access
- User engagement and community building : to ensure knowledge sharing and gather feedback
- Providing training to Science Research & Innovations (SR&I) communities to support effective use of our systems and efficient use of our licenses
- Provide daily support to user inquiries

- Managing portfolio in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and according to actual needs of the scientific community
- Maintaining long-term relationship with external electronic source providers

You bring :
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 3 years of experience in Library services or other related knowledge management role
- Preferred knowledge management experience in Biotechnology, Chemical or life sciences area
- Thorough knowledge of the electronic resource's life cycle, commitment to maintaining awareness of trends and ongoing developments in this field
- Conceptual and practical knowledge of search platforms, standards, and technology to drive the development of digital library setup
- Soft skills : flexibility, open-mindedness, ability to function in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment, and provide support to user communities
