About the role :

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS) business unit by collaborating closely with senior leadership to define and execute a forward-thinking business strategy for Takeda’s product portfolio that aligns with Takeda’s therapeutic area focus, Corporate Philosophy and Corporate Strategy. You will be part of the Leadership Team for the Strategy and Business Excellence global function and will lead a team of 8+ Product Operations Leads responsible for supporting products in the pipeline, launch and growth phase from Takeda’s overall product portfolio.

How you will contribute :

Partner with colleagues in R&D; in the Therapeutic Area Units (TAUs) and Pharmaceutical Sciences, in GMS and Global Quality, as well as with the relevant Commercial business units within Takeda on all topics relating to Product Strategy for products under your responsibility

Develop and implement a comprehensive global Product or Portfolio Lifecycle Plan (PLP) in conjunction with Commercial and R&D (includes Clinical and other functions as appropriate)

Collaborate with Global Operating Units, ensuring alignment with product strategies and lifecycle management.

Drive product strategy and key tactical decisions for pipeline, launch, and growth-phase products, while ensuring seamless integration of product plans into the manufacturing network

Ensure global launch strategies are executable and meet quality, compliance, financial, and customer service expectations

Lead long-range capacity planning, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies for product supply

Lead and develop a Product Operations Team, focusing on decision-making, portfolio strategy, and cross-functional processes

What you bring to Takeda :

At least a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, biological sciences, or pharmacy; additional MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred

Minimum 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry, with program / project management experience

Experience in leading multicultural, cross-functional teams and complex program efforts

Possessing a holistic understanding of our industry, from R&D to Process Development, Operations, Regulatory, Commercial

Expertise in global supply chain planning, manufacturing, and regulatory operations

Preferably knowledge / experience working with diverse pharmaceutical processes such as solid dosage, small molecules, API, plasma purification, cell and gene therapy, etc…

Willingness to travel, fluency in English and advanced influencing skills are necessary for this role

An intrinsic understanding of putting Patients first and unyielding drive to enhance their well-being

U.S. Base Salary Range :

252,000.00 - $396,000.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and / or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and / or long-termincentives.
