School Nurse (Bilingual – English / French)

Our client, a prestigious international school located in the canton of Vaud, is seeking a

qualified and experienced School Nurse (M / F / D)

to join its dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide professional, evidence-based nursing care to students, staff, and visitors while promoting physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing within the school community.

Responsabilités

Proven experience in child, adolescent, or school nursing

Previous work in an international or boarding school environment is an asset

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills

Good understanding of mental health awareness and student wellbeing

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

IT literacy and ability to maintain accurate medical records

Profil

Registered Nurse (Swiss-recognised qualification or Croix-Rouge equivalency)

Fluent in both English and French

Valid driving licence

• Deliver high-quality nursing services to students, staff, and visitors
• Assess and manage injuries, illnesses, and chronic conditions
• Administer medications and vaccinations according to Swiss legal requirements
• Develop and maintain individual care plans in collaboration with house staff and parents
• Provide confidential counselling, health education, and first aid
• Ensure accurate medical documentation and compliance with Swiss data protection standards
