DevOps Engineer (IT-CA-OSILD)

Introduction :

You will build deploy and maintain the infrastructure supporting the Open Research Europe publishing platform based on Open Journal System (OJS). This includes managing Kubernetes / OpenShift deployments developing integrations and ensuring secure reliable and scalable operations of the service in close collaboration with the business and editorial operations team responsible for managing the publishing workflow.

Functions :

• Design deploy and maintain the Open Research Europe infrastructure using automated CI / CD workflows to manage multiple web and support services.
• Work closely with the business and editorial operations team to translate service requirements into technical implementations and ensure smooth operation of the publishing platform.
• Ensure secure reliable and scalable operations through monitoring backups incident response and regular performance and security audits.
• Develop and manage integrations with authentication providers indexers and other third-party services and support the migration from the legacy platform to the new system.
• Oversee day-to-day IT service management including technical user support supervision of a junior team member preparation of service documentation and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare technical documentation and EU project deliverables and contribute improvements to open-source projects such as OJS and related infrastructure components.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience in the field of Computer Science or a related field.
