Project : For our client based in Rotkreuz, we are looking for a Highly qualified Test Automation Engineer (m / f / d).

Join an innovative team shaping the future of diagnostics. You will work on the development of a complex system for molecular diagnostics. In this sensitive environment where precision is critical, you will be responsible as a Test Automation Engineer for ensuring that our software algorithms and hardware interfaces function flawlessly.

You will act as a Software Engineer in Test (SET) and utilize modern methods such as Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) to bridge the gap between requirements and technical implementation. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be jointly responsible for the design, development, and implementation of automated test strategies for our molecular diagnostic platforms.

This includes both software-side security and the validation of physical interfaces through the use of state-of-the-art robotics solutions (standard market solutions as well as customized in-house developments). Your work contributes directly to ensuring that diagnostic results in the laboratory are available quickly and with absolute reliability. You will work in a technologically demanding field that combines the safety of Rust with the agility of modern CI / CD processes to perfect life-saving medical technology.

• You Despise Flakiness : You understand that an unreliable automated test suite is worse than no automated test suite at all. You are obsessed with stability and take pride in building "green" pipelines that the team actually trusts.
• You are a Tooling Polyglot : You aren't married to a single framework. Whether it's Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress, you choose the right tool for the job based on the project's needs rather than personal habits.
• You Bridge the Gap : You can translate complex technical bugs into business risks for stakeholders, and turn high-level business requirements into rigorous technical test cases.
• You are a Force Multiplier : You don't work in a silo. You enjoy mentoring manual QA testers and helping developers take ownership of their own unit and integration tests.
