Assistant Professorship : Support for SNSF Starting Grant by the Institute of Cell Biology, Bern
What we offer
The candidate will be provided with infrastructure support and space to establish a fully equipped laboratory and will receive a contribution towards personnel costs.
We provide access to in-house state-of-the-art microscopy facilities, resources for computational analysis, and biosafety facilities. Members of the ICB have access to core facilities of the University of Bern, including NGS and proteomics platforms.
We welcome a diversity of model systems. However, we do not have resources to support extensive research using vertebrate animals. The Starting Grant timeline coincides with the retirement of a professor at the ICB, which may provide an opportunity to compete for a tenured or tenure-track opening.
