Description

Deutsche Bank intends to hire a highly accomplished Investment Sales Specialist to focus on cross-asset investment coverage of sophisticated UHNW clients and Family offices. The Sales Specialist will work closely with Relationship Managers and Investment Managers to provide UHNW / FO clients with a sophisticated service around capital markets, derivatives and structured solutions, including seamless execution.

This individual will bring a distinguished track record in trading and advising on tailored transactions with professional clients and will have deep knowledge of investment related platform capabilities in the wealth management industry.The ideal candidate will understand capital markets across asset classes and be able to navigate the product landscape together with other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Partnering up with IMs and RMs to serve eligible clients with a specialised service suitable to their specific needs; this entails direct client contact with advice and execution services

Act as point of contact for eligible clients’ that require access to a sophisticated Family Office trading service on OTC derivatives, Equities, FX, Credit and Rates

Providing comprehensive client service regarding Capital Markets activity (market information, accounting etc.)

Owning all OTC and derivative related tasks of a client including credit risk calculations, position and collateral monitoring, oversight of bookings etc.

Achieving capital markets revenue targets

Collaborate closely with key internal partners, including Legal, Compliance, Risk and the Investment Bank

Understand and assess all business and transaction related risks, including market-risks, credit-risks, operational-risks, and reputational-risks.

Required Profile

Proven experience in OTC and other derivatives with strong technical knowledge and understanding of Capital Markets

7 or more years of relevant investment experience

Fluent in delivering a capital market outlook from both an investment strategist’s view (i.e., top down) and a manager’s view (i.e., bottom up) with a view of generating alpha via a sophisticated approach to trading

Good knowledge of Bloomberg and Microsoft office programs

CFA, MBA degree or other advanced degree a plus

Detailed technical derivate knowledge

Strong team player - willing and able to work under pressure, being able to prioritize tasks

Works fast with utmost precision even under pressure - error-free and under own initiative

Positive, outgoing and open-minded personality

Foundational understanding of and respect for applicable legal and regulatory concepts, incl. cross-border frameworks and requisite local requirements

Strong interest in financial markets, continually learning and staying ahead of new developments

Strong communication skills (verbally and in written) in English. Other languages are beneficial

Experienced with various electronic trading platforms

Extensive experience with working with Legal, Compliance and Regulatory requirements associated with the role

Ability to understand client needs and tailor the trade idea generation service accordingly

Ability to introduce existing client relationships considered a plus
