Marketing Platform Team Mission

Our mission is to drive company growth through automation providing infrastructure and data to empower marketers to make decisions and enact them on a global scale.

Team Scope:

• Marketing reports and ETLs
• Marketing entity history and metadata
• Marketing configuration APIs and marketing data processing
• Google Tag Manager GA4 S2S affiliate network conversion tracking and reporting
• GDPR Compliance Cookie Banners
• Display Advertising Feeds for multiple Advertising Networks

Your mission

Successful PMs at GetYourGuide bring a growth mindset and drive business and customer impact by identifying opportunities getting buy-in from your stakeholders and executing with urgency.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for your product area set clear measurable goals and take full responsibility for outcomes. Drive sustained customer impact through a long-term (12 months) roadmap identifying areas for non-incremental impact.
• Articulate and connect your product areas strategy to the companys mission. Break down the strategy into actionable steps regularly update stakeholders on progress and create excitement for your long-term vision. Build alignment within cross-functional teams and with outside stakeholders.
• Analyze customer feedback market trends and business metrics to inform decision-making. Prioritize initiatives re-evaluate the roadmap based on new insights and ensure the most valuable features are delivered first. Make strategic decisions on sequencing and prioritizing product work to maximize impact and learning.
• Build trust with multiple stakeholders internal and external to set clear expectations and align them with your product areas roadmap. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and create buy-in across the organization.
• Plan and execute experiments to test hypotheses develop A/B tests and analyze data to derive actionable insights. Leverage experimentation to evaluate your teams investment and inform future product decisions.
• Represent customer interests at all levels of the organization advocating for user needs in strategic discussions. Act with openness and transparency with your team peers and executive leadership. Provide coaching and mentorship to other team members helping them grow and develop their skills. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and advocate for user needs in strategic discussions.

Your toolkit

• 5 years of professional experience in product management.
• Demonstrated ownership over multiple product areas in a previous role including responsibilities for strategy KPI setup goal-setting and execution of the roadmap
• Ability to build alignment with a cross-functional mission team in a collaborative way that is aligned with our Guiding Principles
• Strong data analytics skills with the ability to derive insights from large data sets
• Familiarity with various marketing channel operations conversion tracking and ad network reporting
• Familiarity with GDPR Customer Data Privacy and consent management
• Demonstrated passion for driving customer and business impact
• Bonus: Experience working in a marketplace or the travel industry is a plus but not required
• Bonus: An engineering or analytics background is a plus but not required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
