Data Engineer - Private Banking

Job Description

To reinforce the  Synechron Switzerland  team, we are seeking for a passionate Data Engineer with Data Architecture skills. In the hybrid environment, you will help maintain existing pipelines, build new data pipelines using modern cloud-native technologies and SaaS , and shape the future of the enterprise data architecture. Our mission is for one of our clients , a Private Bank in Geneva.

Your responsibilities :

As a Data Engineer at Synechron Switzerland , you will :

• Design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines and enterprise data architectures, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
• Analyze, modernize, and optimize existing data platforms and procedures, leveraging both on-premises and cloud-native technologies (e.g., AWS, Terraform, SaaS ).
• Promote data governance policies , including data quality, lineage, metadata management, and stewardship.
• Lead the design and implementation of conceptual, logical, and physical data models (e.g., star schema, data vault), and ensure best practices in data modeling across the organization.
• Onboard and integrate a variety of internal and external data sources, including structured, unstructured, and real-time data streams.
• Prepare and deliver data models and solutions to stakeholders, enabling advanced analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives.
• Evaluate, select, and implement appropriate technologies and frameworks for data storage, processing, and integration.
