Job Details
As the Product Compliance Sr Specialist, you will work with the Product Compliance Lead to ensure all of On's products are compliant in the markets in which we operate (EMEA, NA, Latin America, and Asia). You will be working closely with various stakeholders to contribute to a comprehensive strategy with a consistent and pragmatic approach to ensure that all aspects of our products are compliant before they are brought to market.
You will be a member of the Product Operations team and report to the Product Compliance Lead.
Your Mission
- Track compliance documentation for On's products for the assigned territory and compile documentation as needed.
- Work with R&D Teams, Sourcing, and Supply Chain to ensure compliance and product safety requirements are worked into product designs, packaging and labelling, advertising claims, testing and approval procedures, registration with national authorities, and disposal / recycling obligations
- Act as a point of contact for overarching Finished Goods & Material compliance topics and coordinate action plans with cross functional teams in areas such as, but not limited to, product safety, product packaging & labelling compliance, chemical compliance, and material quality testing
- Monitor evolving regulatory landscape for your assigned territory through work with industry organizations and with 3rd party labs. Communicate / escalate new requirements to the local and global Product Compliance team.
- Drive / support the compliance team to develop guidances to address regulatory compliance demands.
- Work with local and global compliance teams to develop communication platforms and systems ensuring a high level of function of the compliance process.
- Identify future compliance needs and compliance framework needs and work with the Compliance Lead to create action plans to implement those ideas
- Train team members throughout the business to increase compliance knowledge and introduce best practices
- Help create and conduct audits and stress tests of compliance processes and documentation
- Respond to product compliance enquiries from internal and external stakeholders such as suppliers, retailers, markets, and product creation teams regarding topics such as, but not limited to product safety, product packaging & labeling compliance, chemical compliance, and material quality testing
Your Story
BA / BS from an accredited university4-5 years of relevant work experience with knowledge of product development and manufacturing or regulatory compliance experience in a parallel industry such as consumer goodsExperience in product compliance topics, such as labelling, chemical, physical and waste compliance, in at least the assigned markets / territoryStrong communication skills (verbal & written) as well as the ability to communicate across all levels of the global organizationHighly detailed oriented and organizedMust be a self starter with a positive can-do attitudeQuick and independent learnerLanguage Skills : Fluency in EnglishMeet The Team
