THE ROLE
We are seeking a Legal Counsel for a leading manufacturing company. The role focuses on comprehensive legal guidance across a wide range of commercial and regulatory matters relevant to an international manufacturing group. This is a hands-on position well suited to a flexible business-oriented generalist who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams across the organization and report to the Head of Corporate Legal. Fluency in German and English is required.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drafting reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts including procurement distribution IT and sponsorship agreements
• Advising on trademark competition and data protection law matters
• Supporting internal stakeholders on compliance topics including anti-corruption and whistleblowing
• Collaborating with external counsel particularly in the areas of employment law and M&A
• Acting as a legal business partner to operational teams including production and supply chain units
• Supporting strategic legal initiatives in collaboration with the Head of Corporate Legal

YOUR PROFILE

• Master of Law (LL.M. or lic. iur./MLaw); admission to practice law is an advantage.
• At least three years of relevant legal experience ideally in the manufacturing sector in an in-house or secondment role.
• Broad generalist legal background with demonstrated expertise in commercial law and regulatory topics
• Strong business acumen and a pragmatic solution-oriented mindset
• Willingness to engage constructively with legal uncertainty and calculated business risk
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interface confidently with cross-functional stakeholders including production units
• High degree of flexibility curiosity and willingness to learn
• Fluent in German and English; French is an asset
