Based in Novazzano, Switzerland, to support the development of cyber security services, Paradox Engineering is looking for a :

CYBER SECURITY ENGINEER (Penetration Tester)

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our organization's networks, systems, and data. You will work with a team of security professionals to identify vulnerabilities and implement strategies to mitigate cyber threats. Starting from the current state and system architecture, he / she will also contribute to advance the security policies, identify gaps, and partner with development and quality assurance teams to define, implement and promote cybersecurity design principles, policies, and culture, considering both specific products and solutions as a whole.

Main responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments (VA / PT) to identify potential vulnerabilities in our systems and networks
• Security by Design : design security solutions to protect Products / Systems against cyber threats evaluating business requirements and security requirements using a risk-based approach

Coaching and awareness and evangelization on cybersecurity

Qualifications and experiences

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related fields

1+ years of experience in Cyber Security or a related field

Strong knowledge of security principles, standards, and best practices

Experience with Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing tools

Knowledge of Operating Systems such as Linux, Windows, and their command line interfaces

Nice to have

Understanding of network protocols and architecture

Certification like CEH, OSCP

Knowledge in programming languages (C / C++, js, python, sql, others)

Soft Skills required

Flexible, able to prioritize activities and manage time efficiently, meeting the deadlines

Problem-solving approach and ability to manage pressure

Ability to conjugate the product with the process and the solution perspective

Able to work cross-functionally in dynamic and international environments
