We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a 1st / 2nd Level ICT Supporter. The role is a permanent position based in Bern Canton.

Your Role :

  • Carry out the following in Helpdesk / 1st Level Support :
  • Receipt of fault reports and recording of problem reports
  • Carrying out an initial review of the customer's request and initiating processing in accordance with guidelines
  • Monitoring of pending reports
  • Timely publication as well as necessary information regarding the status and progress of customer inquiries
  • Formal conclusion of the enquiries including the verification of customer satisfaction
  • Creation of user accounts, user drives, assignment of permissions
  • Carry out the following in 2nd Level Support :
  • Installing PCs, peripherals and means of communication
  • Perform software updates / rollouts (client management software)
  • Creation of user manuals and updating of process checklists
  • Implementation and / or collaboration in IT projects
  • Collaboration in the support and expansion of the telephone infrastructure
  • Creation of system, installation and IT infrastructure documentation
  • Carry out the following in Asset Management :
  • Maintain hardware, software, and network inventories
  • Management of the central / operational purchasing of IT products
  • PC & Peripherals Lifecycle Management

Your Skills & Experience :

  • At least 3 years of professional ICT Support experience including experience in both 1st & 2nd Level Support (more senior candidates with 10+ years of experience are also welcome to apply).
  • Skilled in the application of problem-solving techniques & design of problem-solving processes.
  • Any exposure to or experience in the area of System Administration is considered advantageous.

Your Profile :

  • Completed ICT training / University Degree in the area of Computer Science, ideally with focus on System Engineering.
  • Goal-oriented, a team-player, resilient & strong communication skills.
  • Fluent English speaker & a good command of German (at least B2 level).
