Overview
We are assembling a world‑class team of researchers and engineers to push the boundaries of virtual and augmented reality. As an Applied Research Engineer, you will work on next‑generation generative models that enable highly realistic, expressive, and interactive 3D avatars. This role sits at the intersection of computer vision, machine learning, and 3D graphics, contributing directly to the future of immersive digital experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize generative models for 3D Codec Avatars with a focus on realism, efficiency, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional research and engineering teams to bring state‑of‑the‑art generative techniques into production environments.
- Prototype and experiment with new approaches in video / image generation, facial and expression modeling, and human body / clothing representation.
- Evaluate and improve model performance , robustness, and computational efficiency.
- Stay current with advancements in computer vision, deep learning, and generative modeling.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field (PhD is a strong plus).1–2 years of hands‑on experience in one or more of the following areas : Generative models (image or video) Facial / expression representation Human body or clothing modeling Computer vision and machine learningStrong programming skills in Python and / or C++ .experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.Solid understanding of 3D geometry, graphics, or related computational techniques .Preferred Qualifications
PhD in a relevant field.experience with large‑scale model training and deployment .Publications in top‑tier computer vision or machine learning venues.Familiarity with avatar technologies, 3D reconstruction, or related 3D vision domains / Video Rendering .Key Skills
