How you can make an impact

This is a client-facing role, not a position where you should expect to be desk-based - instead, you will often work in flexible and agile team environments
You will leverage your relationship, passion, empathy and perseverance skills, as well as your local industry and business network to get access to senior Stakeholders and C-levels, to identify opportunities and support the business development activities
Focus on transforming our clients' core business operations as part of our Operations Transformation team
Work side-by-side with our clients' top management teams to advise, design, implement, and deploy solutions focused on the "heart of the business"
Join our growing banking team, covering entities and organisations such as banks, asset managers, payments processors, service providers, fintechs, etc
Take on an interesting and diverse role working on engagements that involve policy analysis and advisory, business transformation, operating model design, systems implementation and process optimisation
Work in project teams of 2-10 consultants, usually at the client site
Contribute to the firm's success by driving business development and generating leads through your own and Deloitte's industry network as well as responding to client's requests for proposals
You will be participating in the development of our still relatively small but very entrepreneurial Consulting Banking team in Geneva, supported by the whole Swiss practice

Who we are looking for

Strong academic background, preferably with a higher degree from a top-tier university

You have a solid knowledge of the Swiss Banking industry, preferably with an existing client network and seven or more years of experience in Consulting in the Banking industry and extended exposure in the offered position

You have experience with leading and developing junior team members

You are an insightful thinker, confident with concepts, analyses and frameworks as well as "thinking out of the box"

You are an energetic team player with a positive, "can do" attitude, strongmunication and interpersonal skills and you are passionate about doing an outstanding job; both for the client and to contribute to the growth of Deloitte

Fluency in English and French is required. Additional fluency in German is a strong advantage. Based in Geneva, you are happy to travel in Switzerland and potentially abroad

Your team

Our Operations Transformation team advises, designs, implements, and deploys solutions focused on "heart of the business" issues in specific sectors including Banking, Insurance, Life Sciences, and Public Sector, but your role should be focused on the Banking industry. The type of work we provide to our clients includes, among others, operations excellence, including process simplification, operating model as well as new business models definition and implementation, supporting our clients with their growth ambitions, embracing the digital, innovative agenda and maximising operational efficiency.
