agap2 is a European engineering and operational consulting group founded in 2005 and specialized in the industry. We work in the Energy, Infrastructure, Transportation, Chemicals, Information Technology and life science sectors.

As a consultant, you will have to support our clients in the realization of their projects on site by bringing your expertise and your skills.

You are agile and eager to adapt to different work environments that will fuel your curiosity of seeing what’s behind closed doors of the biggest projects of our client’s portfolio.

Tasks

  • Electrical design of converters for railroad applications
  • Specify components and define technical requirements in collaboration with suppliers
  • Perform type and qualification tests
  • Collaborate with series testing and production
  • Technical contact for customers to question requirements and define solutions
  • Prepare the technical documentation required for the project
  • Support the service department and the repair center in analyzing and finding solutions to faults

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a university or college in electrical engineering with a focus on testing, verification and validation of drives and power electronics.
  • Solid background experience and strong interest in hands-on R&D experimentation, testing, validation, qualification and certification of power electronic converters in the medium voltage and high power test environment.
  • Expertise and experience with test systems, equipment and infrastructure related to validation and qualification of power electronic components and subsystems, including protocols for safety, quality, reliability and certification.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English. German is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel sporadically.
