This key role will provide strategic leadership, ensure legal standards, and manage relationships with stakeholders. You will oversee all legal matters related to corporate governance and significant transactions , shaping the future of the organization and leading a small team.

Legal Leadership in Corporate, M&A / Transactions, and Capital Markets :

  • Lead expertise in Corporate, M&A / Transactions, and Capital Markets.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Strategy, and Investor Relations teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Set strategic vision and goals for the Corporate & M&A / Transactions Legal team.

Corporate Governance Management :

  • Maintain a strong corporate governance framework.
  • Manage legal entities and board matters effectively, preparing for growth and opportunities.
  • Legal Lead on Transactions :

  • Provide legal support for transactions, coordinating with Finance, Strategy, and external legal teams.
  • Advise on capital markets transactions and manage mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transactions.
  • Stakeholder Management :

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and manage relationships with the board and investors.
  • Cultivate partnerships with regulatory bodies, stock exchanges, and other stakeholders.
  • Risk Management :

  • Offer practical, risk-aware legal counsel on corporate and transactional issues.
  • Identify and mitigate legal risks while implementing corporate governance practices.
  • Monitor legal trends affecting capital markets and advise on regulatory matters.
  • Over 10 years of experience as a qualified lawyer, including roles at top-tier law firms and in-house positions.
  • Deep knowledge in corporate governance, M&A / transactions, and capital markets, with a strong advantage if experienced in public markets.
  • Holds a UK law degree or has extensive experience with the UK legal system.
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic, and multinational environments, managing tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional project management skills with a focus on cross-functional teamwork.
  • Fluent or near-fluent in English.
  • Capable of building trust and credibility with board members and senior leadership.
