Marketing, Communication & Event Assistant

The HSG START Accelerator is a new launchpad for tech-driven startups in Europe – initiated as a joint project of the University of St.Gallen (HSG), the START Foundation, and the Switzerland Innovation Park East (SIP Ost). Our mission : to make Europe’s best tech startups investor-ready and set them up for growth and international expansion.

We are looking to expand our team! In your role as a Marketing, Communication & Event Assistant, you will be the voice of the accelerator, playing a key role in building our brand, managing our community, and ensuring our mission resonates across the European startup ecosystem.

Tasks

• Take ownership of the operational planning and execution of accelerator events (demo days, community events, partner events) and third-party appearances.
• Coordinate invitations, registrations, logistics, materials, and on-site event support.
• Execute marketing and communications activities across channels (incl. social media, newsletters, website) based on the overall strategy.
• Create, edit, and maintain content and marketing assets (incl. posts, visuals, presentations, event materials).
• Support community communication with startups, partners, and ecosystem.
• Coordinate with partners and support PR and visibility activities.
• Support the team during ongoing program batches with hands-on tasks.
