Your responsibility
- Leading the Group Actuarial Non-Life Department with a total of 5-6 employees
- Performing on a regular basis an independent review of the adequacy of the technical balance sheet positions of the Non-Life business and actuarial risk for each market unit, under various accounting / regulatory regime
- Responsibility for drafting, maintaining and reviewing the adherence of various actuarial guidelines, best practice notes and governance related documents
- Provide guidance and support (via training sessions) of Non-Life actuaries within the Group on particular actuarial topics
- Review and challenge the modeling of insurance technical risks in the Swiss Solvency Test
Your qualification
Qualified actuary with 7+ years post qualification experience with a university degree in mathematics, physics, or related fieldExtensive experience in Non-Life reserving and valuation standards as well as economic valuationYou lead through visions and goals and communicate them convincingly to your teamSeveral years of experience in direct leadership of employees across countriesYou are able to build and develop stable partnerships at all levels with various stakeholders in an international context with a clear focus on achieving common goalsGoal-oriented working style and strategic thinkingStrong persuasion and negotiation skills in English, and additional languages such as German or French are an advantageWhat we offer
