BÜHLMANN Laboratories AG is an internationally operating Life Science company that supports clinical laboratories with innovative diagnostic products and first-class services, empowering healthcare providers to deliver more accurate diagnostics for patients worldwide.
We are a medium-sized enterprise located in Schönenbuch, BL, employing approximately 120 people across departments that cover the entire IVD value chain under ISO 13485 certification. Our self-developed in vitro diagnostic products (IVD) are used globally by hospitals and diagnostic laboratories.
The Development department is looking for a lab technician as of [start date] (or according to availability) for the following position:
Lab Technician Product Validation (100%)
Your Responsibilities
Support development projects at transfer or validation level by executing laboratory work
Perform immunological tests using various platforms (e.g., Flow Cytometry, ELISA, PETIA, etc.)
Conduct studies to establish and optimize kit reagents and protocols
Carry out and assess routine stability tests and performance characteristics
Handle biological materials (stool, blood, urine, etc.) and perform sample preparation
Independent documentation of experimental results in compliance with GMP standards
Instrument responsibility including calibration and maintenance tasks to maintain a GMP environment
Maintenance of databases and material stocks for the development unit
Laboratory training of new employees and, where applicable, customers and distributors
Your Profile
Completed apprenticeship as lab technician (biology, chemistry, biomedical analytics, or similar)
Initial practical experience in the field of in vitro diagnostics (IVD) and immunoassays
General IT skills in a Windows and MS Office environment; basic experience with data evaluation software
Languages: Proficient in spoken and written English; basic German knowledge
Precise, reliable, and independent working style with strong attention to detail
Analytical, systematic, and methodical approach; strong adherence to protocols and documentation requirements
Quick learner, resilient, and flexible; comfortable working in small teams
