This Position reports to:
Production Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for the engineering of electronic products according to the required technical specification, during product development and/or active products technical improvement.

The work model for the role is hybrid. #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Power Protection department in Quartino, Switzerland.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Product Lifecycle Management: Lead post-launch projects for electronic products, managing the entire lifecycle of product variants and customizations from customer request to sales release in close collaboration with Product Management, R&D, and Sales.
• New Product Introduction (NPI): Act as the key interface between R&D and Operations, managing the successful transfer of new products into production and ensuring all manufacturing deliverables, such as Bills of Material and work instructions, are complete and accurate.
• Process Improvement & Validation: Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for production processes to enhance quality, cost, and efficiency, and take responsibility for approving process designs and performing final validation tests.
• Production Support & Training: Provide hands-on support during the start-up of new production processes and equipment, defining action plans and delivering essential training to production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth and successful implementation.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering .

• Knowledge of manufacturing technologies.

• Very good knowledge of MS Office, 2D/3D CAD systems are further requirements.

• Knowledge of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) is desirable.

• High proficiency in English (C+).

• Positive spirit, proactivity, team player, speediness and problem solving mindset; commitment to deliver results by taking responsibility for assigned tasks and projects.
