JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking an experienced Compensation and Benefits Leader to drive the design, implementation, and execution of MSC Cruises Total Rewards philosophy, systems and programs at global level. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of compensation strategies and programs, systems, data, market trends and regulatory compliance, alongside with the ability to design and execute complex projects in the TR area.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Compensation Strategy :
- Develop and execute comprehensive Total Rewards strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Conduct regular reviews and analysis of compensation practices to ensure competitiveness and internal equity.
- Collaborate with senior management and HR leadership to establish salary structures, pay bands, and incentive programs.
- Provide guidance and expertise on compensation matters to HR business partners and managers.
Market Analysis and Benchmarking :
Conduct market surveys and benchmarking studies to evaluate the competitiveness of our compensation packages.Analyze survey data and industry trends to make informed recommendations for adjustments to salary ranges and compensation practices.Monitor changes in legislation and regulations related to compensation to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.Compensation Planning and Administration :
Oversee the administration of salary adjustments, promotions, and other compensation-related changes.Coordinate the annual merit increase process, including budgeting, communication, and implementation.Develop and maintain job evaluation processes to ensure consistent and equitable job pricing.Coordinate with finance and payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of compensation-related transactions.Data Analysis and Reporting :
Utilize HRIS and other data analytics tools to analyze and interpret compensation data.Prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate key compensation metrics and insights to stakeholders.Identify trends and patterns in compensation data to inform decision-making and strategic planning.Benefits Administration :
Strategically design, evaluate, and administer employee benefits programs.Analyze benefits utilization data to optimize plan designs and cost-effectiveness.Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee the administration of benefits plans.Communicate benefits offerings to employees through effective communication strategies and educational materials.QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred).10+ years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits management, at international level.Proficiency in conducting compensation surveys, market analysis, and benchmarking studies.Advanced Excel skills and experience working with HRIS systems for data analysis and reporting.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong Project management skills.Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred.Experience in a Big4 firm preferred.VISA REQUIREMENTS (if any)
