We are designing and building a fleet of near-space hypersonic vehicles and the associated infrastructures to support the world’s fastest transportation network. Our hypersonic aircraft define a new class of fast.

We are looking for a Business Analyst intern to join our dynamic and innovative team at Destinus. In our Business Development and Product Development teams, our expertise is rooted in a deep understanding of technology, excellent communication skills, and a broader business understanding. We collaborate with leading organizations across the aeronautical, energy, and mobility industries in Europe and the world. We define the company's technology roadmap and product strategy and communicate it with the outside world at conferences, stakeholder meetings, media, and online. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in business development, market analysis, product development, and conference planning. Time commitment : this is a part-time (10-20 hours) paid internship with an expected

duration of 6 months. Candidates must be able to work 1-2 days per week from one of our offices.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support the Business Development team at Destinus in their day-to-day activities;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, business development, and marketing;
  • Assist with the management of timelines related to milestones, reviews, and conferences;
  • Participate in market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends and innovations;
  • Conduct market analysis, prepare documents and presentations, write scientific papers, and take part in workshops / reviews; and Assist in presentations with potential customers / partners / authorities.
  • In this role, you will discuss our future products and support the design and development of these products, the company roadmap, and milestones. Our market analysis activities focus on the aviation and hydrogen industries, including airlines, airports, UAVs, manufacturing and propulsion companies, hydrogen producers, energy providers, and competitors. In your role, you will research companies in some of these industries to form a deep understanding of the market and provide new insight to the business and leadership teams.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications :

  • Currently, a high-performing student pursuing a University degree in business,

    • marketing, engineering, or other related science;

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal skills;
  • Strong interest in aviation and / or space, with a passion for technology and

    • innovation;

  • Demonstrated experience related to business analysis and development;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to execute many projects and tasks in parallel in

    • a fast-paced environment;

  • Work well in teams and cares about organizational culture; and
  • Fluent in English as a working language in both speaking and writing.

    • Preferred skills & experience :

  • Engineering background, understanding of propulsion systems, airplanes, hydrogen

    • fuel, and the energy market;

  • Aviation background, understanding of the aviation industry;
  • You are curious and have a thirst for knowledge, bringing a fresh perspective to what

    • you do;

  • Previous experience with business analysis, marketing, communication, and design;
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities through management of teams; and
  • Besides English, you communicate confidently in German, Spanish, and / or French.
