Full time office role (100% in the office)

Zürich, Switzerland location

12 months fixed term contract

Responsibilities :

Hedge Funds Settlements

Processes private placement hedge funds and mutual funds transfers for our clients
Ensure risk aware exception handling, trade monitoring and manual interventions on client & market transactions.
Liaise between custodians and transfer agents to ensure timely settlement of client assets.
Knows the difference between a mutual fund and a hedge fund
Understands high-level how those products are bought or sold (subscription / redemption)
and specifically, how those products are transferred from one bank to another (via transfer agents, legal documentation required, stock transfer forms, etc.)
Understands the roles of a transfer agent / fund administrator / transferee / transferor

Securities Settlements

Provides settlement services in our role as global custodian for our clients.

Ensure securities portfolios are transferred between other financial institutions.

Guarantee timely settlement of transactions in global markets and play an active role in looking after accurate realignments of securities positions.

Skills and Experience :

Good ?understanding of securities markets specifically functions of a custodian.

Knowledge of Equities and Fixed Income products with an understanding of processing confirmations and settlements.

1-6 years experience in Corporate Actions event processing and reconciliation.

Profound experience in securities settlements (capturing, instructing & monitoring orders).

Knowledge of SWIFT messaging, typically MT54x settlement instructions.
