Responsibilities
and duties :
Use international and technical expertise to monitor and analyze external trends and developments to inform the evolution of the CFO Network and Redefining Value workstreams and engagement
Coordinate high-level virtual and in-person meetings for CFOs and other executives across multiple geographies.
Contribute to the strategic development and implementation of engagement and marketing models for Redefining Value
Coordinate regular workstream meetings
Support CFO Network and Redefining Value’s presence at key external and internal events, including drafting key messaging and briefings
Support the development and launch of a General Counsel Network
Support the strategic positioning of the Executive Vice President and Senior Director, including writing briefing notes, identifying and preparing for speaking opportunities, ensuring effective communication and fostering positive relationships.
Support relationship management with stakeholders, including member companies, NGOs and other WBCSD teams, particularly leading engagement with existing CFOs within the CFO Network
Quali fi cations :
Master’s degree in international relations; political science; sustainability; environmental management finance or marketing
Proven track record working with CFOs and other high-level executives in sustainability-focused communities, including the delivery of membership recruitment and retention
Strong knowledge of WBSCD’s membership and current CFO Network and Redefining Value members
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels and engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders
At least 5 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on business and sustainability and knowledge around (corporate) finance ,capital markets, emerging reporting regulations and their relationship to sustainability.
Take responsibility for projects, actions and people. Evidence of successful project management and effective facilitation of different perspectives towards a common objective. Capacity to work independently by setting priorities within own work streams, identify and proactively address problems and work to deadlines.
Should be comfortable working across time zones and with a diverse, international team.
Speci fi c skills :
Organized with strong attention to detail and rigor, ability to support RV in day-to-day project management
Experience in event coordination and management, both online and in-person, for executives
Excellent communicator with native-level fluency in English, written and spoken; additional languages a plus, particularly French
Strong knowledge of current events in the business and sustainability landscape. Existing professional network with key stakeholders a plus.
Familiarity with customer journey strategies e.g. marketing funnels
Familiarity with communications planning and strategy
Impeccable professionalism and experience delivering for executives
Highly proficient in Salesforce
Highly proficient in Power Point and Microsoft Office
Experience working with the legal community
Enjoys working collaboratively with an ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing circumstances, seize opportunities to do things better, and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.
Capacity to take initiative and work independently towards agreed objectives.
