AI Engagement Leader (Delivery & Sales)

You as a talent are needed to rapidly grow our business which started up from three founders with proven track-records in AI consulting and scaled AI implementations.

For our powerful consulting team, we are looking for a Swiss based AI & Data Science Engagement Leader (Delivery & Sales) in the field of program delivery and business development activities for our German & French speaking customers.

Your mission

• Partner closely with key stakeholders to define solutions addressing business challenges and identify high-impact applications in the space of data science and artificial intelligence.
  

• Form trusted relationships with various stakeholders across our clients, teams and partners to drive the growth of Artifact in terms of business expansion and new business development

• Lead high-performing delivery teams in an agile way and take accountability for the project delivery and results

• Manage the progress of projects and engagements by overseeing key activities, resolving issues, and recommending improvements.

• Provide senior management and project management with updates on delivery, outcomes, timeline and project status

• Collaborate with leadership, business and technical teams to gain understanding of business problems and define business and technical solutions to be developed. Identify the key requirements to drive the project ahead and take responsibility to drive decision making

• Provide feedback to improve the quality of the delivery to ensure adequacy to the expectations and scope

• Responds proactively to both business and project issues and address escalations appropriately

• Identify new opportunities to further grow the business, either through project change requests or genuine business development actions

• Lead the identification of key requirements, use cases, storylines required to ensure solutions are developed properly and tested to meet fit intended purpose (meeting customer needs and getting operationally implementable)

• Shape key presentations and communicate compelling stories for the key interactions with the client, the team and the management

• Train and lead other consultants in projects and the company

• Mentor and coach other team members

Your profile

• Master's degree in business administration, business information or engineering

• 7+ years of experience in leading Analytics projects successfully

• 5+ years in business development activities in the field of Data Science & AI

• 5+ years of consulting experience with successful technology implementations. Business consulting experience to define business-, governance- and operating models

• 5+ years of project delivery experience as Scrum Master including available certification (CSM ScrumAlliance / SAFe)

• Strong affinity with Advanced Analytics, AI, Data Science and Computer Science

• Experience in bringing analytics projects into production and scale them afterwards. Understanding of DevOps, MLOps, DataOps models and related activities

• Excellent stakeholder management skills

• Excellent written and oral communication (English and German or French is a must)

• Experienced in working with virtual distributed teams

• Willingness to travel and to work with a consultant’s diligence

• A valid work permit in Switzerland

• You intend to start your new job @Artifact within the next 90-120 days from your point of application

Additional preferred qualification:

• Hands- on Analytics and Data Science project work experience

• Deeper experience in several industry sectors such as pharma, consumer and financial industry

• Ready to move out of your comfort zone (it will happen, often)

• Open-minded and with a good sense of humor
