About the Role : Join a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing national security through cutting-edge technology. This role offers the chance to work on critical projects that support the defense sector, focusing on lifecycle management, operation, and availability of military systems for air and land.
Key Responsibilities :
- Automate development and operational processes
- Develop scripts for software applications, components, or modules, as well as interfaces
- Apply container virtualization
- Ensure the required development, test, and production systems, including networks for software applications
- Monitor the availability, recoverability, performance, and resource consumption of applications
- Coach the team on DevOps practices
- Maintain system-technical documentation
What You Bring :
Degree in computer science or apprenticeship as a computer scientist EFZ with several years of professional experience, or career changer with further training in computer science and professional experienceIn-depth knowledge of virtualization and container technologies, Ansible, VMWare, Microsoft Active Directory, data center management, network technologies, as well as Windows and Linux systemsProgramming knowledge in Python, PowerShell, and Bash ShellFurther knowledge of firewall, NetApp, Kubernetes, Docker, ArcGIS, and Selenium would be an advantageIndependent, proactive, and conscientious work styleStrong quality awareness and assertivenessVery good oral and written knowledge of German, as well as knowledge of English (Level B2) is an advantageWillingness to work in Thun and BernWhat Awaits You :
