about-project :

We are looking for a Senior Java Webservices Developer with very good German skills to join a long term project for one of the most respected technical and research institutions in Europe. You will work on the development and maintenance of key information systems, including university operational systems, Identity and Access Management, e learning platforms, and advanced web services supporting research activities.

Work model is hybrid, around 80 percent on site in Zurich and 20 percent remote.

Location : Zurich, hybrid model

Contract : B2B

Capacity : Full time, long term assignment for 2 to 3 years

Relocation : full accommodation costs covered

responsibilities :

develop and maintain Java based web services built on REST

design APIs and specifications using OpenAPI and Swagger

integrate solutions with university systems, including IAM

ensure performance, stability, and security

create unit and integration tests and contribute to CI CD pipelines

collaborate with analysts, architects, and client side teams

maintain technical documentation and provide third level support

requirements-expected :

several years of senior level experience in Java development

very good knowledge of Java and Spring or Spring Boot

strong experience with REST API, API design, and documentation using OpenAPI and Swagger

practical experience with relational databases and SQL

daily hands on work with Maven or Gradle and Git

experience with automated unit and integration testing

experience working in Agile teams

German at minimum B2 level (must have) and good command of English

offered :

rate : 250 to 300 PLN per hour plus VAT

contract : long term project for at least 2 to 3 years

relocation : full accommodation costs in Zurich covered

work model : hybrid, around 80 percent onsite and 20 percent remote
