Scientist I, LC Separations Analytical Development
How will you make an impact?
Responsible for developing or transferring analytical methods to support biopharmaceutical process development. You will work within an interdisciplinary team of scientists where you will learn and supply your skills and ideas to projects.
What will you do?
- Perform laboratory experiments to develop, assess or transfer liquid chromatography (LC) and capillary electrophoresis (CE) methods such as SEC, IEX, RP, CE-SDS, cIEF.
- Interpret client documents and literature to strategize approaches for successful method development, qualification, and / or method transfer activities.
- Responsible for performing in-depth analysis of analytical data and collaborate with the analytical team for method lifecycle review.
- Share your findings and discuss the relevance of your data with a diverse team of scientists, engineers, and customers.
- Ensuring of maintenance of assigned laboratory equipment to current standards.
- Upkeep of laboratory in compliance with 5S principle and local environment, health and safety guidelines.
Who we are looking for : experience, skills & abilities
Knowledge and expertise in LC and / or CE analytics on one or more of the following systems : ThermoFisher Vanquish, Core or Flex UHPLC, Waters Acquity or Agilent systems, Sciex PA 800+, Maurice.Experience processing and reviewing data in Empower 3 is helpful.Technical experience with the following assay techniques : Reverse Phase, Size Exclusion, Protein A Affinity, Ion Exchange and / or Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography, Capillary Electrophoresis.Understand ICH method validation guidelines to assess method performance.Ability to work independently with excellent communication and prioritization skills.How will you get here?
Education
Laboratory technician, Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology / Chemistry / Biochemistry / Chemical Engineering, or a related field.Experience
As a lab technician, Bachelor's and Master's degree , minimum of 2 years of experience related to the job description.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Personality
